Why Stack Mold Hot Runners Need Custom Long-distance Thermocouples

The cavity pattern of stack hot runner moulds is double-layer or multi-layer. The mould opening stroke is large, and the vertical wire distance is lengthy. Standard ordinary thermocouple has short lead length and lack of bending fatigue resistance which can't be adapted to the movement of layered mould and long distance wire. Stack moulds open and close the upper and lower layers at the same time and have far bigger stretching displacement than normal single-layer moulds. It can be seen that the stack mould cannot be used with conventional thermocouples, and the customised long-distance anti-fatigue model is a necessary supporting configuration to enable the steady functioning of stacked hot runner systems.
