Working principle and advantages of silicone rubber heating belt

1. Austenite structure nickel-chromium alloy;

2. Ferrite structure iron-chromium-aluminum alloy. Battery energy storage heater is very thin, light and flexible.... With this heater, you can transfer heat to any place you need. During processing, it improves heat transfer, accelerates heating and reduces power requirements. 3D printer heating sheet uses layer-by-layer stacking to produce three-dimensional models. Its operation process is similar to that of traditional printers, except that traditional printers print ink on paper to form two-dimensional flat drawings, while 3D printers stack liquid photosensitive resin materials, molten plastic filaments, gypsum powder and other materials by spraying binders or extrusion to form three-dimensional entities. Electric vehicle battery heaters use the heat energy generated by auxiliary heaters to heat the battery pack, which will not consume battery power, so it will not affect the power and cruising range of electric vehicles. At the same time, it can also ensure the heat required by the air conditioning system. The vehicle controller distributes heat by controlling the opening of each electronic control valve, and the control method is simple.

Due to the different microstructures, the performance of these two alloys is also very different.

Comparative, nickel-chromium electric heating alloy

1 High temperature strength. Ni-Cr alloy has higher high temperature strength than Fe-Cr-Al alloy and is not easy to deform at high temperature.

Figure 2. After long-term use, it still has good ductility. Ni-Cr alloy will not become brittle after long-term cooling, so the heating element is more reliable to use and easier to repair after damage.

Figure 3. High emissivity. The emissivity of fully oxidized Ni-Cr alloy is higher than that of Fe-Cr-Al alloy, so under the same surface load, the emissivity of Ni-Cr alloy elements is slightly lower than that of Fe-Cr-Al alloy elements.

4. Non-magnetic. Ni-Cr alloy materials are non-magnetic, which is more suitable for students to study instruments used at low temperatures. Iron-Cr-Aluminum alloy must be above 600℃ to be non-magnetic.

5. Good corrosion resistance. Ni-Cr alloy is more corrosion-resistant than unoxidized Iron-Cr-Aluminum alloy (except for sulfur-containing atmospheres and some controlled atmospheres).

2. Iron-Cr-Aluminum Electric Heating Alloy

1. The ambient temperature is high when used in the atmosphere. Iron-chromium-aluminum silicone rubber heating belt 0Cr27AL7Mo2 can be used in different temperature ranges up to 1400℃, while nickel-chromium wire Cr20Ni80 has a temperature of 1200℃ during use.

2. Long service life. When the temperature in the atmosphere is high, the life of iron-chromium-aluminum is 2-4 times that of nickel-chromium.

Figure 3. High surface load. Due to the high allowable temperature, long service life and large surface load of the component, the heating is not only fast, but also the alloy material is saved.

4. Good oxidation resistance. The Al2O3 oxide film formed on the surface of the iron-chromium-aluminum alloy has a dense structure, good adhesion to the substrate, and is not easy to disperse petals and water, causing pollution. In addition, Al2O3 has a high resistivity and melting point, which determines that the Al2O3 oxide film has excellent oxidation resistance. The anti-carburization performance is also better than that of Cr2O3 formed on the surface of nickel-chromium alloy.

5. Small specific gravity. The specific gravity of Fe-Cr-Al alloy is smaller than that of Ni-Cr battery alloy, which means that we can save more building materials when making equivalent components by using Fe-Cr-Al than Ni-Cr.

6. High resistivity.

7. Good sulfur resistance. When the sulfur-containing atmosphere and the surface are contaminated by sulfur-containing substances, Fe-Cr has strong corrosion resistance to corrosion, while Ni-Cr is severely corroded.

8 It is cheap. The relative price of Fe-Cr-Al is much cheaper than Ni-Cr because it does not contain rare nickel.

Fe-Cr-Al electric heating alloy has the characteristics of high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of resistance and high operating temperature. It has good high temperature corrosion resistance, especially suitable for sulfur and sulfide in the atmosphere, and low price, which is an ideal heating material for industrial electric furnaces, household appliances and far-infrared devices.
