Working principle of explosion-proof electric heater

Fluid explosion-proof electric heater is a type of device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat materials that need to be heated. In work, low-temperature fluid medium enters its input port through a pipeline under pressure, and follows a specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container. The path designed using fluid thermodynamics principles takes away the high-temperature thermal energy generated during the operation of the electric heating element, causing the temperature of the heated medium to rise, and the outlet of the electric heater obtains the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the output port, so that the medium temperature at the output port is uniform; When the heating element exceeds the temperature limit, the independent overheating protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power supply to avoid overheating of the heating material causing coking, deterioration, and carbonization. In severe cases, it can cause the heating element to burn out, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.

Application scope

The typical application scenarios of fluid explosion-proof electric heaters include:

1. Chemical materials in the chemical industry are heated up, some powders are dried under certain pressure, and chemical processes and spray drying are carried out.

2. Heating of hydrocarbons, including petroleum crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, thermal oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, etc.

Process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air) gas, water gas, and other fluids that require heating.

Due to the use of advanced explosion-proof structures, the equipment can be widely used in chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas and other places that require explosion-proof measures.
