Working principle of injection molding machine

Injection molding machine is a type of equipment used for producing plastic products and is one of the indispensable equipment in industrial production today. Its working principle is to heat, melt, and inject plastic particles into the mold for molding, and then cool and solidify the plastic products produced in the mold before taking them out.
Injection molding machines are generally composed of injection molding systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, lubrication systems, cooling water systems, and other components. The injection molding system mainly consists of plastic heating and melting system, plastic injection system, pressure maintaining system, etc.
The workflow of an injection molding machine is roughly as follows: first, the commercial plastic is heated to a molten state in a thermostat, and then the molten plastic is fed into the injection cylinder. Driven by injection cylinder pressure, molten plastic enters the mold through a nozzle. The plastic products inside the mold begin to be cooled by cooling water shortly after the nozzle injection, causing them to quickly solidify and form. As the plastic product solidifies, the mold opens and the product is taken out.
There are various control systems for injection molding machines, among which the most commonly used is a computer control system. In addition, injection molding machines also have automated equipment such as automatic temperature regulation, automatic exhaust, automatic mold loosening, and robotic arms. These automated equipment can improve production efficiency and stability, and reduce the labor intensity of workers.
In the plastic processing process, in addition to producing high-quality plastic products, environmental protection issues also need to be considered. Injection molding machines can produce harmful substances such as volatile organic compounds and smoke during production, so it is necessary to adopt environmentally friendly and effective measures during the working process, such as installing smoke purifiers.
