Exhibition introduction
The 2023 Global Semiconductor Industry (Chongqing) Expo will be held from May 10 to May 12, 2023 at the Chongqing International Expo Center, 66 Yuelai Avenue, Yubei District, Chongqing, China. The organizer is the Chongqing Semiconductor Industry Association. The exhibition will be held once a year. The exhibition area will be 30000 square meters. The number of exhibitors and brands will reach 500.
Chongqing is one of the four municipalities directly under the Central Government in China as a manufacturing center with a complete range of industries. Chongqing, located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, is just at the geometric center of the territory, connecting the east and west, connecting the north and south, and is the connection point between the "the Belt and Road" and the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The first state-level development and opening new area in the central and western regions of Chongqing will comprehensively promote the Chengdu-Chongqing region to undertake the industrial transfer in the eastern region. In the process of undertaking the industrial transfer in the eastern region, it will form a strong post-development advantage in terms of location, industry, channel, comprehensive cost, resource endowment, system and mechanism policies. As one of the earliest cities to develop large-scale integrated circuits in China, the whole process system of IC design, wafer manufacturing, packaging and raw material matching has been initially built. Chongqing is actively building an electronic information industry chain based on "core screen and core network", focusing on the development of power semiconductor storage, automotive electronics, digital-analog hybrid, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in the future, and striving to build a 100-billion-level integrated circuit cluster by 2022. With the improvement of quality, efficiency and upgrading of the two pillar industries of electronic information and automobile manufacturing in Chongqing, it will bring huge market demand and platform for the integrated circuit industry.
The Global Semiconductor Industry Expo (GSIE) is a global semiconductor industry event in the central and western regions. The exhibition covers all aspects of the semiconductor industry chain, including integrated circuit manufacturing zone, packaging and testing zone, semiconductor materials zone, production equipment zone (second-hand equipment), electronic components zone, AI+IOT+5G zone, talent plan training and exchange zone and international zone.
