SIAL International Food Exhibition (Shanghai), one of the three major food exhibitions in the world, is hosted by the French Gome Expo Group and its subsidiary, Beijing Aibosia Exhibition Co., Ltd., and is held in Pudong, Shanghai, China, in May every year. Since landing in China in 2000, SIAL China series of international food exhibitions have attracted 40000 exhibitors from more than 70 countries and regions around the world. The exhibits cover 21 categories, including beverages, dairy products, leisure food, convenience food, grain, oil, fruits and vegetables, meat ingredients and condiments. The professional visitors come from more than 100 countries and regions around the world, covering food importers and exporters, dealers, wholesale and retailers, supermarkets and comprehensive stores, hotels and restaurants, and more than 1 million people.
This exhibition will set up eight theme pavilions, including: snack food pavilion, comprehensive imported food pavilion, green agriculture pavilion, meat and frozen food pavilion, grain and oil and condiments pavilion, convenience food pavilion, high-end drinks pavilion, dairy products and big health food pavilion, as well as the association government group exhibition area.
