On March 21st, the first batch of exhibits from the 3rd China International Consumer Goods Expo arrived at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center after smooth entry and customs clearance. A total of 37 items, valued at $149000, included clothing, jewelry, furniture, and other categories. This batch of exhibits adopts the "integrated" customs clearance mode, which takes off from Italy, the guest of honor, and arrives at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. After being declared and released by Haikou Customs and Guangzhou Customs, they are transferred to Haikou, laying a good foundation for the early stage of the exhibition arrangement of this Consumer Expo.
"In order to help us declare in a timely manner, Haikou Customs has established a one-on-one service mechanism to track commodity logistics information in real time and carefully guide the completion of system operations, effectively allowing us to experience the first-class customs clearance environment of the Free Trade Port!" said Li Ling, a logistics service provider responsible for handling the customs declaration procedures for this batch of exhibits.
It is understood that this Consumer Expo is the first offline exhibition among the four major national exhibitions held this year. Compared to the previous two sessions, the number of brands and exhibitors participating overseas has significantly increased.
In order to accelerate the preparatory work for the Third Consumer Expo, Haikou Customs docked the import needs of exhibitors in advance, and targeted guidance was provided to enterprises to use a "single window" to complete the formalities of temporary entry filing, customs declaration, inspection and release of exhibits. At the customs declaration site, establish a "green channel for customs clearance at the Consumer Expo", providing 7 × 24-hour customs clearance service ensures "zero delay" customs clearance of participating goods and materials.
The relevant person in charge of Haikou Customs stated that in the next step, Haikou Customs will give full play to its functional advantages, widely draw on the practical experience of customs supervision at international exhibitions, strengthen the docking and liaison with the exhibition hosting departments, optimize the process and provide good services, and spare no effort to ensure the successful holding of the Third Consumer Expo.
