Description
Swaged Cartridge Heater consist of a resistive coil wound around a ceramic core surrounded by a dielectric and encased in a metal sheath. The kinetic heat transferred to the sheath through the coil causes the sheath to heat up. The heat is then transferred to the internal metal parts that need it. At high power densities, a tight fit is more important. With a tighter fit, the heater will run cooler and have a longer life expectancy.
