Analysis of energy consumption in well type annealing furnaces

Well type annealing furnaces are widely used in casting, metallurgy, automobile, aerospace, military, shipbuilding, light industry, power and other industries, and can be used for different annealing heat treatment processes of various metal workpieces such as high chromium, high manganese steel castings, gray iron castings, rolls, bearings, steel balls, wear resistant liners, etc.
There are multiple types of annealing furnaces:
1. Annealing furnaces can be divided into controlled atmosphere annealing furnaces, vacuum annealing furnaces, and annealing furnaces heated in a natural atmosphere.
2. Annealing furnaces are divided into three types based on different heating forms: fuel oil heating, electric heating, and gas heating. They are fuel oil annealing furnaces, electric heating annealing furnaces, and natural gas annealing furnaces.
This annealing furnace is a type of heat treatment equipment in the mechanical industry. Its purpose is to soften materials and workpieces that have been cast, forged, welded, or cut, reduce hardness, improve plasticity and toughness, homogenize chemical composition, remove residual stress, or achieve expected physical properties.
The principle and function of a well type annealing furnace is a metal heat treatment process that slowly heats metal parts in different heating furnaces to a predetermined temperature, holds them for some time, and then cools them at an appropriate speed (usually natural condensation, sometimes controlled speed cooling).
For example, when the casting is heated to around 950 ℃, it should be kept warm for a period of time and then cooled appropriately to remove the internal stress of the steel casting and welded parts. When the temperature below which austenite begins to form in steel products after heating is 100-200 ℃, the internal stress can be removed by cooling in air after insulation.
There are generally two types of energy consumption for annealing furnaces:
One type of consumption is the amount of gas used per unit of steel (gas: natural gas or gas),
Another type is consumption, which involves factors such as fuel, electricity consumption, equipment loss, labor, and raw materials.
