Assembly process of electric heating elements and electric heaters

Assembly process of electric heating elements and electric heaters

1. Electric heating elements and heaters used in the form of exposed electric heating wires

Typical application examples of electric heating elements and heaters made directly from spiral or linear heating wires using ceramic (clay) discs, pipes, brackets, and mica plates as support, insulation, and insulation, such as electric furnaces, hair dryers, heaters, and multi type furnaces.

2 metal tubular electric heating elements

Insert spiral shaped electric heating alloy wires into metal pipes (carbon steel pipes, copper pipes, aluminum pipes, stainless steel pipes, and titanium steel pipes), fill the powder feeder with high-temperature resistant, insulating, and thermally conductive magnesium oxide powder, and then shrink it on a shrinking machine (the aluminum pipes are compressed on an hydraulic press). This type of electric heating element or electric heater composed of it is currently the most widely used. Typical application examples include electric water heaters, electric ovens, etc.

3 PTC heating elements and heaters

Ceramic PTC heating plates have circular, rectangular, and elongated shapes, which can be used alone or can be composed of several plates to form a heater, as shown in (4) of Figure 2. Typical application examples include heaters, air conditioning heaters, etc.

4 Far infrared heating elements

Metal tubular electric heating elements with far-infrared heating function are used in electric ovens, as well as far-infrared heating plates and heating plates. Quartz tube heaters are widely used in heaters and disinfection cabinets

5 electric heating coils, electric heating discs, and electric heating plates

The electric heating coil uses electric heating alloy wire as the heating material, mica soft plate as the insulation material, and is wrapped with a thin metal plate (aluminum plate, stainless steel plate, etc.). Typical applications such as electric water bottles. Casting metal tubular electric heating elements into aluminum plates or plates, or welding or embedding them onto aluminum plates or plates, forms various shapes of electric heating plates or plates. Typical application examples include electric rice cookers, electric irons, electric coffee pots, etc.

The damage to the heater mainly includes:

1. Leakage (phenomenon of automatic circuit breaker or leakage protection switch tripping, electric heating tube unable to heat), accounting for more than 90% of heater failures

2. No heating (internal heating wire burnt or wire broken at junction box)

3. Electric heating tube rupture or fracture (electric heating tube crack, electric heating tube corroded and ruptured, etc.)

Handling method:

1. For leakage, it is necessary to confirm the leakage point. If it is the electric heating tube itself, it can be baked in an oven. If the insulation resistance value cannot be increased, the electric heating tube may need to be replaced. For example, if the junction box is filled with water, use a hot air gun to dry it. If the wire is damaged, wrap it with adhesive tape or replace the wire.

2. If the heater does not heat up, if the internal wire of the electric heating tube is broken and cannot be repaired, it can only be replaced; If the circuit or connector is broken or loose, it can be reconnected.

3. If the electric heating tube is broken or broken, it can only be replaced.
