Causes And Measures for Carbon Deposition In Thermal Oil Heaters

Reason: If the temperature of the heat transfer oil is too high, it will carbonize. When the heating tube is working, the surface temperature is very high, so the local temperature is too high, forming carbon deposits.

Solution:

1. Replace the heat transfer oil. If there is a large carbon deposit problem, the best way is to completely replace the heat transfer oil.

2. Add antioxidants. When using heat transfer oil, antioxidants can be added to reduce the rate of oil oxidation and decomposition, thereby reducing the occurrence of carbon deposits.

3. Clean and replace equipment. Equipment should be cleaned regularly to avoid accumulation of too much impurities, grease and carbon deposits. If the carbon deposits inside the equipment are already serious, it is recommended to replace new equipment.

4. Upgrade and transform equipment. By upgrading and transforming the original equipment, the operating temperature can be lowered, the oxidation and decomposition rate of the heat transfer oil can be reduced, thereby reducing the occurrence of carbon deposits.
