Characteristics and Applications of Assembled Thermal Resistors
The WZ series industrial thermal resistance is used as a temperature measurement sensor, usually used in conjunction with temperature transmitters, regulators, and display instruments to form a process control system. It is used to directly measure or control the temperature of liquids, steam, gas media, and solid surfaces within the range of -200 ℃ -500 ℃ in various production processes.
Thermal resistance measures temperature by utilizing the characteristic that the resistance of a substance changes with temperature. When there is a temperature gradient in the measured medium, the measured temperature is the average temperature in the medium where the temperature sensing element is located.
Although the appearance of various thermal resistors varies greatly, their basic structures are generally similar, consisting of temperature sensing components, insulation sleeves, protective tubes, and junction boxes.
Methods for Improving Thermocouple Sensitivity in Industry
The following methods can generally be used to improve the sensitivity of thermocouples:
1. The contact surface between the two metal connection points used should not be too large;
2. The two metals are in a heated environment as a whole, and there should be no excessively long unheated parts to avoid prolonging the heating time;
3. Using wires with ground resistivity, it is best not to be too long, and it is best to use silver or silver plated multi-core flexible wires with a thickness of no less than 2mm ^ 2;
4. Reliable fusion connection of each connection point;
5. Improve the sensitivity of the receiving device;
6. If the circuit is in a long distance, it is recommended to use an intermediate amplifier method. Install an intermediate amplifier on the side near the thermocouple, allowing the feedback signal to be amplified before being transmitted to the controller for verification.
