Common Problems When Using 3D Printers

Common problems when using 3D printers

When we use 3D printing, we need to consider several factors of 3D printing products, such as the size of the designed object, wall thickness, printing materials, etc. These factors will affect the effect of the final printed product.

1. Wall thickness

3D printing prints objects by stacking layers. If a file does not give the wall thickness of the 3D file, it will not be able to print.

2. Size

3D printing cannot print infinitely large objects. Therefore, the printing size of a file is crucial. The confirmation of the size should be as early as possible to avoid disassembly due to too large size and loss of printing details due to too small size.

3. Minimum gap

The minimum gap refers to the minimum distance between two wall thicknesses. If the minimum gap is less than the printing limit of the 3D printer, the two wall thicknesses will be combined into one wall thickness.
