I. Common Types of Single-End Heating Elements
(I) Single-end heating elements can be categorized based on their appearance:
1. Miniature single-end heating elements: diameter Φ2.2-Φ5.9mm.
2. Standard single-end heating elements: diameter Φ6-Φ25mm.
3. Large single-end heating elements: diameter Φ25-Φ100mm.
4. Semi-circular single-end heating elements: Semi-circular single-end heating elements are an improvement on conventional single-end mold heating elements. They are made by folding a semi-circular heating element in half. The folded element's own expansion force creates a tight fit with the mold hole. They offer high power density, long service life, and high thermal efficiency. They are an upgrade to single-end mold heating elements, especially for molds requiring high temperatures and rapid heating rates.
5. Flat single-end heating elements: These are most effective heating elements in molds under special environmental conditions and are used in tapered mold holes. They are also used by other equipment manufacturers. 6. Hollow Single-End Heating Tube: Utilizes the hollow core of the single-end tube to quickly heat air.
7. Conical and square single-end heating tubes are the most effective heating elements in molds under special conditions and are suitable for use in tapered mold holes.
(II) Based on wire lead standards, they can be specifically categorized as follows:
1. Soft-lead single-end heating tube: A soft stainless steel wire is led from the inside of the heating tube and encased in a fiberglass sheath. This process is low-cost and less prone to wire breakage.
2. External-lead single-end heating tube: A hard stainless steel wire is led from the inside of the heating tube via a lead rod, then connected to a high-temperature wire on the outside. This process is standard and widely used for domestic single-end heating tubes.
3. Internal-lead single-end heating tube: The high-temperature wire is led directly from the inside of the heating tube. This process is more expensive but less prone to wire breakage.
The above is the relevant information provided by stainless steel heating tube manufacturers. We hope it will be helpful.
