Composite material molding process-compression molding

Polymer composite material-polymer + reinforcing material (or filling material) "composite", endow the material with excellent physical and mechanical properties. Composite products: thermosetting resin + fibrous reinforcing material. The commonly used molding method for composite materials is laminate molding, which does not require molds.

Commonly used reinforcing materials are glass fiber, asbestos, metal and so on. The specific strength even exceeds that of alloy steel, so it is also called "Fiberglass-reinforced plastics" (FRP or GRP).
