Hydraulic press GMT compression molding

Usually two layers of glass fiber mats are sandwiched between three layers of thermoplastic polymer melts or films, and they are hot rolled on a crawler, cooled and hardened to form a semi-finished sheet. After preheating, the semi-finished product is placed in a mold for compression molding. GMT is actually a glass fiber thermoplastic prepreg, similar to thermosetting SMC sheet.
