Electric heating tape is the most suitable for greenhouse insulation in winter

Greenhouses are used for cultivating or raising seedlings of flowers, trees, and other plants during cold weather. They are typically constructed with glass or a rooftop, making them ideal for heat preservation. However, during the cold winter months, temperatures often drop below zero, making them unsuitable for plant growth. The temperature inside the greenhouse doesn't meet the requirements for flower cultivation. Therefore, electric heating cables are typically used for heat preservation.
Electric heating cables utilize the principle of converting electrical energy into heat. They can be laid on the greenhouse floor or installed underground. Connected to a power junction box, the cables are wrapped with aluminum foil or pressure-sensitive tape, then laid flat on the ground or buried underground. Finally, a thermal insulation layer is applied for final insulation (when buried underground, the insulation layer must adhere closely to the cable surface).
Electric heating cables can be cut and secured with a junction box to prevent them from falling off or causing electrical leakage. They offer advantages such as rapid heating, high thermal efficiency, excellent thermal memory, and a long service life. They are also used for anti-freeze insulation in pipelines and tanks in chemical, power, shipbuilding, and dockyard applications.
