How do we calculate the power when choosing a double-ended electric heating tube?

When many customers contact us, they send us a drawing or pipe diameter and length parameters for us to quote. When our sales staff see the parameters, they know that many heating tubes cannot be made. Why? Because the power is too large and exceeds the production range.

1: Determine the power of the heating tube according to the working environment. The power setting is mainly divided into two types: dry-burning electric heating tube and liquid heating. For dry-burning, generally a 1-meter-long tube has a power of 1KW; for heating liquid, generally a 1-meter-long tube has a power of 2-3KW, and the maximum power cannot exceed 4KW. (This is based on the tube diameter of 8MM. The power produced by different tube diameters is also different. Please contact our sales staff for details)
2: Material selection:
1. Dry-burning double-head electric heating tubes are generally made of 304 or 321 materials (some need to have fins)
2. For liquid heating, ordinary heating water uses 304 material, high-end customers can choose 321 and 316L materials; if it is oil, 321 and 316L materials must be used. If the liquid contains weak acid or alkaline liquid, stainless steel 316L and 310S can be used. If the liquid contains strong acid, 840, 800 and titanium must be used.
