How do we calculate the system power when choosing a double-ended electric heating tube?

When many customers contact us, they send drawings or pipe diameter and length parameters for us to quote. When we see the parameters, the sales staff know that many heating pipes cannot be made. Why? The energy is too large and exceeds the range. Teflon heat exchangers are suitable for both steam heating and hot water heating.
Next, the editor of Lilin Electric Heating will tell customers how to choose double-head electric heating tubes. How much power is appropriate? Single-head tubes do not require special fixed installation and can be directly placed in the heating channel for heating.

One: Determine the power of the heating tube according to the working environment. The power setting is mainly divided into two types: dry-burning electric heating and liquid heating. When dry-burning, the pipe is generally 1 kilowatt in length. When heating liquids, the pipe is generally 1 meter long and the power is 2-3 kilowatts. The maximum power should not exceed 4 kilowatts. This is a column with a pipe diameter of 8MM. The production power of different pipe diameters is different. Please contact our sales staff for details.
Two: Material selection:
1. Dry-burning double-head electric heating tubes are generally made of 304 or 321 materials (some require fins).
2. For liquid heating, 304 is used for ordinary water heating, and 321 and 316L are available for high-end market customers; if it is oil, 321 and 316L are used. If it is a weak acid solution or alkaline ionic liquid, Chinese stainless steel 316L and 310S can be used. If there is no strong acid in the liquid, 840, 800 and titanium must be used.
