People have a mentality when buying things, not knowing whether the quality and durability of the items they buy are good or not.

Buying a heating tube also feels the same. From the surface, an electric heating tube looks like a metal shell, so its quality cannot be distinguished from the surface. Quality can be judged based on power design, as the power design of electric heating tubes varies depending on the usage environment. Normally, the power per meter is measured (i.e., how much power can be achieved in a one meter long heating zone).

1. The power of water heating is between 1-3kw/meter;

2. The power of oil heating is between 1-2kw/meter;

3. The power of air heating is between 1-1.5KW/m. Beyond this range, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan.

The material selection of electric heating tubes varies depending on the heating environment:

1, Liquid heating

1. Stainless steel 304 for water heating;

2. Carbon steel or stainless steel 304 for oil heating;

3. Stainless steel 316 for weak acid and weak alkali;

4. Use Teflon coating for strong acid and strong alkali.

2, Air heating, selecting different materials according to different temperatures

1. Use stainless steel 304 for working temperatures below 300 degrees;

2. Use stainless steel 321 for working temperatures within 500 degrees Celsius;
