How to prevent fires when using electric heaters?

Electric heater is a widely used device in work and daily life. Due to its resistance wire being made of nickel and chromium alloys, the temperature can reach over 800 ℃; In addition, the power of electric heaters is relatively high, so users must pay more attention to safety when using them to avoid accidents such as burns or fires.
From previous cases, there are various possibilities for electric heaters to cause fires. One is to place the energized electric heater on or near combustible materials, causing a fire under prolonged high-temperature baking; Another type is that the electric heater is not equipped with a plug and the wire head is directly inserted into the socket, which can easily cause a short circuit and cause a fire.
If the plug is not unplugged in a timely manner when using the electric heater, it may overheat and ignite nearby combustibles, resulting in a fire. In addition, if the resistance wire of the electric heater is repaired multiple times and continues to be used, it can cause overload of the circuit and cause a fire.
So in order to improve the safety of using electric heaters, the following points need to be achieved:
1、 Flammable and explosive materials cannot be placed near the electric heater, and a certain safe distance must be maintained;
2、 The electric heater must be placed on a non conductive and non combustible material base; 3、 The safety cutoff of the electric heater wire must meet the capacity requirements of the electric heater, and industrial electric heaters must be equipped with separate circuits in any case.
4、 The wire of the electric heater must be installed with a plug, and the wire end of the electric heater cannot be directly inserted into the socket; Timely replace aged or damaged lines;
5、 Install a disconnect container for the equipment, and ensure that someone is watching while using it. When leaving, unplug the plug. In the event of a power outage, the electric heater plug should also be unplugged in a timely manner and should not be forgotten.
6、 Resistance wires that have been repaired multiple times should no longer be used and replaced with new ones; It is strictly prohibited to use electric heaters to dry various flammable and explosive materials; The seventh is about the temperature setting of the electric heater, which should not only prevent excessive temperature but also prevent the electric heater from baking for too long.
