How to use and maintain a single head tube

1. Over time, if thick scale and grease accumulate on the surface of single-ended pipes, they should be cleaned regularly. Failure to do so will reduce the heat transfer performance of the pipes and cause the heat load on the pipe surface to exceed the rated allowable temperature, leading to damage.
2. The heating portion of the single-ended pipe should be fully immersed in the heating medium to prevent damage due to slow heat dissipation and exceeding the allowable heating temperature. Furthermore, the wiring leads should be exposed to the heater insulation or outside the heater to prevent overheating and damage.
3. The wiring terminals of single-ended pipes should be kept clean and dry. Failure to do so will degrade the insulation performance and lead to short circuits and breakdown. If used in environments with chemically corrosive, flammable, or explosive liquids or gases, the wiring terminals should be tightly protected with insulating seals to prevent accidents.
4. When heating certain adhesives, such as sodium nitrate, stearic acid, and paraffin wax, the power supply voltage should be reduced initially to reduce the heat generated by the pipes. Once the pipes are completely melted and converted to liquid, the rated voltage should be increased before heating. 5. The input power voltage should not exceed 10% of the rated voltage indicated on the individual single-ended tubes. If used at a voltage lower than the rated voltage, the heat generated by the tubes will also decrease.
6. Read the instructions for dedicated single-ended tubes carefully before installation to avoid damage.
7. When connecting the terminal blocks of single-ended tubes, tighten them with two nuts. Avoid excessive force to prevent loosening of the lead screws and damage to the tube.
8. When selecting single-ended tubes, pay special attention to the heating medium. It should not corrode the tube shell material.
9. Single-ended tubes should be stored in a dry place. If the surface becomes damp due to long-term storage, measure the insulation resistance with a megohmmeter before use. If the insulation resistance is less than 1 megohm/500 volts, dry the tube in a drying oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
