Installation methods for thermocouples and resistance thermometers
Leave a message
Thermocouples and resistance thermometers are commonly used temperature measuring instruments in industrial and mining enterprises as well as research institutes. Accurate installation of thermocouples and thermistors is the main element to ensure their measurement accuracy. Based on how many commonly used device methods are introduced, I hope to provide some reference for everyone's practical tasks.
The device of the initial thermocouple and thermal resistance should be kept as perpendicular as possible to avoid deformation of the maintenance sleeve at low temperatures. However, in the case of flow velocity, it must be pulled out against the flow direction of the measured medium to ensure sufficient interaction between the temperature measuring element and the fluid to ensure measurement accuracy.
Other thermocouples and thermal resistors should only be installed in pipelines with maintenance layers to avoid heat dissipation. Secondly, when the thermocouple and thermistor device are in the negative pressure pipeline, it is necessary to ensure the sealing of the measuring point to avoid the entry of external cold atmosphere, which may result in low readings.
When the thermocouple and thermistor device are outdoors, the junction box cover of the thermocouple and thermistor should be facing upwards, and the wire inlet should be facing downwards to prevent rainwater or dust from entering the junction box and damaging the wiring inside the thermocouple and thermistor junction box, affecting their measurement accuracy.
The wiring situation of thermocouples and resistance thermometers should be regularly reviewed, especially for thermocouples and thermometers. Due to the high hardness of the compensating wires, they are easily disconnected from the terminals, resulting in open circuit problems. Therefore, they should be well wired and not touch the thermometer's wiring too much. Regular reviews should be conducted to obtain accurate temperature measurements.
