A defrosting electric heating tube end seal for cold storage and refrigerated cabinets is characterized by an electric heating tube (3) equipped with a heating wire lead-out rod (1), with magnesium oxide powder (2) placed between the lead-out rod and the heating wire, and insulating sealing adhesive (4) applied to the end of the heating tube. The lead-out rod (1) is connected to the power cord (7) via a copper tube clamp (6), and synthetic rubber (5) is placed together with the end of the heating tube in a mold and pressed under certain temperature and pressure. This design fundamentally overcomes the fatal weakness of the original rubber sleeve used for the end of the heating tube, which resulted in gaps and poor sealing, moisture resistance, and antifreeze effect. It is widely applicable to refrigeration equipment operating in extremely humid and low-temperature environments such as cold storage and refrigerated cabinets.
This utility model defrosting electric heating tube end seal is for a defrosting electric heating tube operating in extremely humid and low-temperature environments such as cold storage and refrigerated cabinets. Currently, icing and frosting issues in refrigeration facilities in my country's refrigeration industry lead to poor cooling performance, severely impacting the full functionality of cold storage and refrigerated cabinets. In particular, damage to the defrosting heating element in imported refrigeration equipment renders the equipment inoperable. Replacing the defrosting heating element with an imported one is not only expensive but also inconvenient. Previously, to address defrosting issues, rubber sleeves were typically added to the heating element ends. While these sleeves achieve some defrosting, gaps between the heating wire and the sleeve result in poor sealing and insulation at the heating element end, significantly affecting cooling performance. This can lead to equipment failure due to heating element burnout, and poor insulation can cause personal injury.
To address these shortcomings, this invention provides a defrosting heating element end seal with a moisture-proof, freeze-resistant, anti-aging, and high-insulation-resistance rubber seal that bonds well to the metal of the heating element.
The structural features of this utility model's electric heating tube end seal are as follows: the electric heating tube (3) is equipped with a heating wire lead-out rod (1); moisture-proof magnesium oxide powder (2) is placed between the electric heating tube (3) and the heating wire to serve both heat transfer and insulation purposes; insulating sealant (4) is applied to the end of the electric heating tube; the heating wire lead-out rod (1) and the power cord (7) are connected via a copper tube clamp (6); polymerized rubber (5) and the end of the electric heating tube are placed together in a mold and pressed into an electric heating tube end seal under specific temperature and pressure. The advantages of this utility model of a moisture-proof and freeze-resistant defrosting electric heating tube end seal are as follows: (I) The bonding force between the electric heating tube metal and the rubber is strong and the sealing performance is good. Because it uses CHI3 COCH3, CHELOK205, and CHELOK220, which are applied to the metal parts in sequence, it generally will not fall off without chemical treatment. The bonding and sealing performance between the metal and the rubber is good, overcoming the fatal weakness of the original method of using a rubber sleeve for the defrosting electric heating tube end seal, which has poor moisture-proof and freeze-proof effects. (II) This synthetic rubber has excellent moisture-proof, freeze-proof, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and aging-resistant properties, and is suitable for working in humid and low-temperature environments with a long service life. (III) High voltage resistance, high insulation resistance, and safe and reliable use. Its moisture-state insulation resistance is ≥200-0MΩ; after the damp heat test, the insulation resistance is ≥5MΩ; the moisture-state leakage current is ≤0.1MA, so it is safe and reliable to use. (IV) The technical specifications of the heating element equipped with this end seal are identical to those of similar products manufactured in Russia and the United States, but the price is only one-tenth of that of similar products manufactured in Russia and the United States. The successful creation of this utility model can replace the defrosting heating element in imported equipment, saving the country a significant amount of foreign exchange and solving a major problem for my country's refrigeration industry.
Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the end seal of the defrosting heating element of this utility model.
In the figure: 1. Heating wire lead-out rod; 2. Magnesium oxide powder; 3. Heating element; 4. Insulating sealant; 5. Synthetic rubber; 6. Copper tube fitting; 7. Power cord.
The implementation of this utility model will be further explained below with reference to Figure 1: A heating wire lead rod (1) is used in the heating tube (3), and a moisture-proof magnesium oxide powder (2) is installed between the heating tube and the heating wire. The heating wire lead rod (1) is connected to the power line (7) through a copper tube clamp (6). Then, an insulating sealing glue (4) is applied to the end of the heating tube, and it is placed in a mold with synthetic rubber. It is pressed by a certain temperature and pressure to become a defrosting heating tube end seal.
