Introduction to installation and maintenance instructions for electric heaters

Introduction to installation and maintenance instructions for electric heaters
1、 Installation and application of electric heaters
Firstly, the electric heater should be installed in a dry and ventilated area that is easy to operate. The electric heater should be installed vertically, and the base nut should be tightened to ensure its stability. When connecting the main body of the electric heater to the external pipeline device, attention should be paid to the direction of the inlet and outlet. Before use, the insulation resistance between the power supply terminal and the metal casing should be measured to be no less than 2M Ω, and the relative humidity of the operating environment should not exceed 85%. The outlet and inlet ends of the power cord should be firm and firm, and not loose. Finally, it is necessary to check whether the power cord of the electric heater and the output wiring of the temperature measuring element are correct, and whether the control cabinet components and nuts are loose or damaged. If there are any abnormalities, tighten or replace them in a timely manner. After confirming that there are no errors, power on the test run.
2、 Precautions for electric heaters
When using an electric heater, it is prohibited to use three-phase electricity without a zero line. It is forbidden to use a grounding wire to replace the zero line. The operating voltage of the heater should be 220V, and direct use of 380V voltage is prohibited, using three-phase four wire connections. The normal operating pressure of the electric heater is within 0.3 kilograms. It is prohibited to use the wrong connection method of using the electric heater to advance cooling and lower heating. During the operation of the device, water should not be splashed onto the electric heater. Ensure that the inlet and outlet joints do not leak. If water accidentally leaks onto it, it should be dried or sun dried before use, otherwise it may cause fire and breakdown, and attention should be paid to checking at all times. The inlet and outlet of the electric heater should be connected with air conditioning stainless steel pipes or copper plastic hoses, and the connection of iron parts should not be too strong or forceful to avoid breaking the inlet and outlet.
3、 Common faults and maintenance of electric heaters
1. The power indicator does not light up, the digital display meter does not work, and the voltmeter has no indication. It should be checked whether the switch is closed and whether the control circuit fuse is intact.
2. The temperature of the electric heater does not rise. You should check if the fuse is intact and if the electric heater is damaged.
3. Three phase imbalance. Check if the three-phase incoming voltage of the electric heater is out of phase. Open the protective cover of the electric heater, use a multimeter to check if a single electric heating element is open, and then replace it with a special matching wrench. Pay special attention not to damage the rubber pad when replacing it
