Is there a solution to the heating tube used on the mold being easily damaged?

1. The power design of ordinary mold heating tubes should not be too high, and the normal surface load should not exceed 8w/cm2. The surface load of imported heating tubes is 11-12w/cm2. The larger the surface load of standard mold heating tubes, the shorter their service life.
2. The material selection of the mold heating tube belongs to the scope, so different working environments and temperatures will choose different materials. The working temperature is about 100-300 degrees, and the heating tube material is 304 stainless steel. The working temperature is about 400-500 degrees, and 321 stainless steel material can be selected. The working temperature is about 600-700 degrees, and 310 stainless steel S material should be selected. Therefore, incorrect material selection is also a reason for short service life. Also, whether the mold is vibrating. If there is vibration, nickel chromium wire with good flexibility should be used.
3, Die hole clearance
Due to the obstruction of heat conduction by air, heat cannot be discharged, which can cause an increase in the surface temperature of the electric heating tube, leading to an increase in the internal temperature of the heating tube. When the internal temperature of the mold electric heating tube reaches a certain level, it will burn out the resistance wire, shorten the service life of the mold heating tube, and more seriously, the tube explosion phenomenon. Therefore, the gap between the heating tube and the mold should not be too large. However, the gap between them cannot be too small, as the heating tubes of the mold will expand due to the principles of thermal expansion and cold contraction after installation and power on, and many molds cannot be removed when the heating tubes are damaged. For these two issues, Yancheng Xingke Electric Heating suggests that when customers purchase mold heating tubes, the gap between the mold hole and the heating tube diameter should be 0.1-0.2mm, which can perfectly solve the above problems.
