The exposed parts at both ends of the furnace shell should be equal, and the clamps must be tightened to ensure good contact with the silicon carbide rod.
When the temperature of the box type resistance furnace cannot exceed the maximum working temperature, the silicon carbide rod is not allowed to work continuously for four hours at the highest temperature. After using the box type resistance furnace for a considerable period of time, if it is found that the heating power adjustment knob is adjusted clockwise to the maximum position, but the heating current still cannot rise or fall, and it is far from the rated value and cannot reach the required heating power, it indicates that the silicon carbide rod has aged. When changing the connection method, it is not necessary to disassemble the silicon carbide rod. Just change the connection method and after changing the connection method, pay attention to slowly adjusting the heating power adjustment button during use, and the heating current value should not exceed the rated value.
