Many problems in the operation of screw air compressor
Leave a message
1. Severe energy consumption during unloading operation
The load rate of screw air compressors in China is around 66%, and the rest of the time is in unloading operation. For air compressors such as screw compressors that use traditional adjustment methods, the energy consumption under unloading operation is more than 20% of that under full load operation, and some air compressors even reach about 40%, accounting for 9-18% of the total energy consumption. The degree of waste is very serious.
2. Excessive starting current
The starting current of the screw air compressor can reach 5 to 7 times the rated current, which can easily lead to grid instability and even threaten the stable operation of electrical equipment, reducing the life of the screw air compressor.
3. Low degree of automation
The regulation of traditional air compressors is achieved by controlling control valves and loading/unloading valves, which have shortcomings such as slow speed, unstable pressure, and low accuracy.
4. Large maintenance volume
Due to the high impact current on the equipment when the screw air compressor is started, the motor is subjected to considerable wear and tear. Moreover, the loading/unloading operation mode makes the components repeatedly operate, resulting in accelerated aging of the components and a significant workload of equipment maintenance.
5. High noise
Continuous high-speed operation, overload operation, loading/unloading, etc. cause a high noise level in the operation of screw air compressors. From the problems encountered in the operation of the air compressor, it can be found that improving the operating efficiency of the air compressor, reducing pressure losses caused by pipeline leakage, saving compressed gas consumption, improving operational reliability, and reducing energy consumption of the air compressor are of great significance.
