Methods for prolonging the service life of the feed end cylinder of a dryer

Methods to prolong the service life of the feed end cylinder of a dryer, especially a downstream dryer. During operation, due to the insertion of one end of the cylinder into the combustion mixing chamber, direct contact with hot gas may lead to premature damage to the feed end cylinder, which may lead to problems such as material leakage at the feed port. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt certain methods to extend the service life of the feed end cylinder. 1. A sleeve is added outside the discharge pipe of the dryer for water cooling. 2. The hot end cylinder is designed as a detachable structure to facilitate the replacement of burnt out cylinders. When it is necessary to replace the end cylinder, the adjacent second short cylinder can be removed first, so as to smoothly exit the first cylinder to be replaced and reassemble as required. 3. At the hot end of the cylinder, a heat resistant cast iron mouth guard ring is used, with a length of about 1200~1500mm. It is inlaid with refractory bricks to extend the service life of the part. 4. Modify the sealing ring. The material is welded with steel plates of a certain thickness, and the labyrinth circuit is increased from 1 row to 2 rows, with each row increasing in length to 200 mm. The labyrinth gap is widened to, and the original free sliding seal ring is replaced by fixed welding on the cylinder, with an ash collection hopper installed underneath. 5. The chute is divided into two sections: the upper section is a movable type, located outside the furnace body, and completely fixed to the flame isolation section on the concrete slab (made of high alumina cement and clay aggregate combined with steel bars to form a refractory concrete slab furnace top). Only a 500mm long chute contacts the flame of the fluidized bed furnace. The two sides of the bottom surface of this part of the chute are welded with steel bars, and coated with refractory concrete as a protective layer. After this treatment, the life of the chute is significantly prolonged. 6. Build the material trough with refractory bricks. In the section near the dryer in the furnace, take the center line of the dryer as the center, and build a small hole with the length calculated from the machine head. When laying bricks, start with the dryer rotating and not touching the brick. The hole pier extends about 800~1000mm towards the furnace, and then a groove with a width of 300mm and an angle of 45 ° is built at the center above the small hole. During production, it is necessary to use iron pipes to butt joint from the feeder to the furnace top notch. Due to the fact that the feed end is a vulnerable part of the dryer, it is necessary for everyone to frequently inspect and maintain it during normal use, and observe whether its use condition is normal. This will also facilitate everyone to detect the precursors of failures as soon as possible, take timely measures to adjust, and reduce the occurrence rate of dryer failures.
