Mold temperature controller troubleshooting solutions

Fault 1: While the mold temperature controller's circulation pump is operating at normal current, its operating capacity is reduced.
Solution: This is caused by scale accumulation and carbonization on the heating element. Cleaning the heating element and the internal piping of the mold temperature controller is recommended.
Fault Analysis 2: While the mold temperature controller pump pressure is constant, the current is high and the flow rate is low.
Solution: This is caused by deterioration of the heat transfer medium inside the mold temperature controller, resulting in increased viscosity. Replace or regenerate the thermal oil promptly, and ensure proper ventilation.
Fault Analysis 3: The circulation pump current is decreasing, and the outlet pump pressure returns to zero, indicating that the pump is idling and not supplying oil.
Solution: This may be caused by thermal oil vaporization. Identify the cause of the vaporization and take appropriate measures. If the circulation pump is drained due to a clogged filter, immediately bypass the filter and clean it. If the newly added heat transfer fluid contains water or the decomposition of water has not yet been removed from the system, immediately open the vent valve to vent the air.
Fault Analysis 4: The outlet temperature of the liquid heat transfer furnace is low, indicating insufficient heat supply, while the exhaust gas temperature exceeds 300°C.
Solution: (1) Insufficient induced draft leads to insufficient combustion intensity, resulting in low exhaust gas temperature. Blow off the ash promptly. Pay special attention to whether the water seal of the slag discharger at the rear of the furnace and the ash outlet of the dust collector are properly sealed and whether there is a large amount of cold air leaking in. (2) The grate is broken or the pin is detached. Metal inclusions in the coal have stuck the grate; the grate is arched; the bottom of the slag stopper has sunk, blocking the grate; use a wrench to reverse the grate to remove the debris, replace the broken grate and restart. If it gets stuck again after starting, stop the machine and check the cause in detail before solving the problem.
Fault Analysis 5: Grate is stuck.
Solution: Open the bypass and remove the filter for cleaning. Adjust the adjustment screws on both sides to tighten the grate. If it still does not rotate normally, the sprocket needs to be replaced.
