Precautions for Thermocouple Thermoelectric Potential

When a circuit is composed of two different conductors or semiconductors, and their two ends are connected to each other The temperature difference at only two nodes, such as one end with a temperature of T, is called the task end or hot end, and the other end with a temperature of TO is called the free end. An electromotive force will occur in the circuit The bias of the electromotive force is related to the data of the conductor and the temperature of the two contacts, and this phenomenon is called the "thermoelectric effect". The electromotive force that occurs is called the "thermoelectric electromotive force". So what are the results that need to be paid attention to in the process of utilizing thermocouple thermoelectric potential?

1. The thermoelectric potential of a thermocouple is the difference in temperature function between the two ends of the thermocouple, not a function of the temperature difference between the two ends of the thermocouple;

2. The magnitude of the thermoelectric potential generated by a thermocouple is related to the length and diameter of the thermocouple when the data is averaged, and only to the composition of the thermocouple data and the temperature difference between the two ends;

3. After determining the composition of the two thermocouple wires, the magnitude of the thermocouple thermoelectric potential is only related to the temperature difference of the thermocouple; If the temperature of the thermocouple remains constant, the thermoelectric potential entering the thermocouple is only a single value function of the temperature at the task end.

Weld the conductors or semiconductors A and B of two different materials together to form a closed circuit. When there is a temperature difference between the two attachment points 1 and 2 of two conductors, an electromotive force occurs between them, thus creating a large or small current in the circuit. This phenomenon is called thermoelectric effect. Thermocouples use this effect to perform their tasks.01
