Precautions for wiring anti-corrosion thermocouples
Leave a message
Users must follow the rules of the device when installing the instrument, pay attention to some details, and prevent the instrument's function from being reduced due to improper installation, and even shorten the application life of the instrument. What should be paid attention to when wiring anti-corrosion thermocouples?
How many points should be noted when dealing with junction boxes and their connectors
1. After connecting the thermocouple with the wire, the bolts of the outlet holes on the junction box should be tightened before closing the junction box cover. The outlet holes of the junction box should be facing downwards to prevent water, dust, and debris from falling into the junction box due to poor sealing;
2. The temperature inside the junction box should not be too high. Due to the fact that the thermoelectric characteristics of the compensating wire only diverge from those of the thermocouple within the range of 0-100 degrees (or 200 degrees), additional deviations will occur beyond this temperature range. Therefore, when installing the device, the junction box should avoid the low-temperature zone. The usual practice is to bend the thermocouple at a certain angle to keep the junction box away from heat sources or to cool the junction box with water to prevent the junction box from overheating;
3. If the temperature of the connector of the thermocouple circuit (including the terminal posts and terminals in the junction box) is average, it does not affect the thermoelectric potential value of the thermocouple circuit. But in many places, due to differences in the heating state of the connectors, it can cause measurement deviations in the attached heating potential.
