Pressure spray dryer: the drying process of wet materials.

1. Material Preparation:

First, select the wet material to be dried and ensure it meets the requirements for spray drying. Different materials may require preliminary screening or treatment.

2. Pretreatment:

Before the material enters the spray dryer, some pretreatment steps may be necessary, such as removing impurities, adjusting material concentration, and adjusting pH value, to ensure the smooth operation of the spray drying process.

3. Atomization Process:

The pretreated material is delivered to the atomizer via a high-pressure pump. The atomizer sprays the material into tiny droplets. During atomization, the material is dispersed into a large number of small droplets, increasing the surface area of ​​the material, which is beneficial for subsequent drying.

4. Hot Air Supply:

Simultaneously, hot air, heated by a heater, enters the drying chamber and comes into contact with the atomized material. The hot air provides the heat required for drying, causing the moisture in the material to evaporate rapidly.

5. Moisture Evaporation:

When the hot air comes into contact with the material, the moisture in the material evaporates rapidly. The evaporated moisture flows with the hot air, forming a humid, hot gas mixture within the drying chamber.

6. Product Drying:

After a certain drying time, most of the moisture in the material is evaporated, resulting in a dried product. The morphology and particle size of the dried product can be controlled by adjusting the operating parameters of the spray dryer.

7. Product Collection:

The dried product is collected from the bottom of the drying chamber and undergoes subsequent processing such as sieving and packaging to obtain the final product.

8. Exhaust Gas Treatment:

The humid, hot gas generated during the drying process (exhaust gas) needs to be treated to remove moisture and harmful substances. The treated exhaust gas can be safely discharged or further recycled.

Through these steps, the pressure spray dryer can efficiently and quickly complete the drying process of wet materials, obtaining a high-quality dried product.
