When the vacuum pump is at its limit, the first stage discharges little or no water. Therefore, a large amount of water is discharged from the first stage pump, which can be considered as a leak in the system. The usual reasons for air leakage are: gaskets are not installed, installed incorrectly or damaged, bolts are not tightened, flange surfaces are damaged, welds have trachoma, and joints (pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, etc.) are not installed properly.
