The difference between assembled thermal resistor and armored thermal resistor

May I ask, what are the differences between assembled thermal resistors and armored thermal resistors? Performance, price, applicable occasions, etc.

The armored ones can be bent, but due to the limitations of the armored outer protective material, the application range is not as wide as the assembled ones. They are mostly used in places with long installation dimensions, where bending and routing are required, and where wear and corrosion are not serious. The price is generally more expensive than the assembled ones, but it also depends on the size and the material used for the assembled ones. For example, if corundum or silicon nitride is used, it is also very expensive. The performance is similar, the purpose is the same, but different implementation methods are selected according to the on-site working conditions.

The exposed type has the fastest response speed, which can basically reach the standard response time of the component, but the protection is also the worst, it is the easiest to break, and has high requirements for the environment;

The shell type has the second fastest response speed, but it is easily interfered by the outside world, affecting the accuracy of the signal;

The insulated type has the slowest response speed, but it is stable and has a high protection level.
