(2) The exterior of the air electric heater should be insulated. Most power plants (owners) only insulate the pipes at the outlet of the air electric heater when using it, without any insulation treatment on the surface of the electric heater itself. According to the data, adding insulation layer on the surface of the electric heater can reduce energy consumption by 5% to 10%. If the energy consumption savings are significant after long-term operation, the power plant (owner) should install insulation layer on the air electric heater along with the pipeline.
(3) The pressure of the descending air electric heater itself is lost. When the air that needs to be heated flows through the interior of the air electric heater, pressure loss occurs. The greater the pressure loss, the greater the energy consumption of the fan. Improvement and innovation should be made in the layout of the air electric heater itself to minimize the pressure loss.
