The purpose and working principle of indirect explosion-proof electric heaters


Indirect explosion-proof electric heaters are specifically designed to heat flowing flammable and explosive gases such as natural gas and petroleum gas. It can effectively solve the technical problem of supplementing a large amount of heat when natural gas, petroleum gas, and other media transition from liquid to gas or from high pressure to low pressure. It can also be used for heating corrosive liquid media such as crude oil with high gas content, inferior oil with high coke content, and chlorine ions.

The working principle of an indirect explosion-proof electric heater is that the heated medium enters the heat exchange chamber (shell layer of the heat exchange tube) of the electric heater from the inlet, twists and turns along the baffle plate, and fully exchanges heat with the heat transfer oil (normal pressure of the tube layer) heated by the heating element inside the heat exchange tube, flowing to the outlet. The electric heating element does not come into direct contact with the heated medium, which can prevent the electric heating element from exploding under high pressure and corrosive conditions, leading to safety production accidents. The medium stays in the heat exchange chamber for a long time and flows out at a uniform temperature from the outlet.

Refers to the quality of fit and contact accuracy between mating surfaces.

2、 Motion accuracy

Refers to the accuracy of relative motion direction and relative motion between components in an electric heater.

3、 Position accuracy

Refers to the distance accuracy and mutual position accuracy between relevant components in the electric heater.

In general, the assembly accuracy of electric heaters is ensured by the machining accuracy of the relevant components. The machining accuracy of parts is the foundation for ensuring assembly accuracy, and assembly technology is the method and means to ensure assembly accuracy.
