There are two reasons for electrical equipment to ignite flammable gas mixtures:
One is sparks and arcs generated by electrical equipment, and the other is heat generated by the appearance of electrical equipment (that is, the surface that touches the combustible gas mixture). Regarding the parts that can generate arcs and sparks during normal operation of the equipment, place them in the flameproof enclosure, or adopt other explosion-proof types such as encapsulation type, sand-filled type, oil-filled type or positive pressure type to achieve the explosion-proof intention. Regarding the increased-safety electrical equipment, it is the equipment that does not generate arcs, sparks and risk of high temperature during normal operation. If some protective measures are adopted in its layout, try to make the equipment not under normal operation or approved overload conditions. The appearance of arcs, sparks and overheating can further improve the safety and reliability of the equipment. Therefore, the electric heating tube has no ignition source during normal operation, and can be used in a blasting risk environment.
The electrical circuit should be laid in a location where the risk of blasting is small or the source of release is far apart. Electrical wiring should be laid along the outer wall of a building with a risk of blasting; when the risk of blasting gas or vapor is heavier than air, the electrical wiring should be laid at a high place, and the cable should be laid directly in the ground or laid in the cable trench filled with sand; when the risk of blasting is laid When the gas or vapor is lighter than air, the electrical wiring should be laid in a low place, and the cable should be laid in a cable trench. Overhead lines below 10kV and below 10kV shall not cross the blasting risk environment; when the overhead lines are near the blasting risk environment, the interval between them shall not be less than 1.5 times the height of the tower.
Wiring method and wiring method of electric heating tube. For blasting risk environment, explosion-proof steel pipe wiring and cable wiring are the first choice. Try to use thick-walled pipes, and some can do suppression experiments.
