Three steps for starting up an electric heating thermal oil furnace

In the daily workshop processing and production process of electric heating thermal oil furnaces, there are generally three main steps: pre startup inspection, startup operation, and shutdown; Operators should be familiar with every step of the thermal oil explosion-proof electric heater, conduct regular inspections, and operate safely.

1, Pre startup inspection

1. Check whether the electric heating thermal oil furnace and its surroundings are clean and free of debris, and whether the furnace body, burner, controller, fire hole, chimney, etc. are normal;

2. Reverse the process equipment and process, check whether the oil level in the expansion tank is above 1/4-1/2 of the liquid level, and whether the thermometer, pressure gauge, etc. are normal;

3. Connect the power supply to the heating furnace control cabinet, check if the voltage is normal, and check if the indicator lights and various display instruments are normal;

4. Adjust the gas main pressure reducing valve and secondary pressure reducing valve to control the pressure to 0.005 MPa.

2, Start up and run

1. Start the heat transfer oil circulation pump (one in operation and one as a backup, follow the operating procedures of the water pump), and circulate normally for about 0.5 hours after starting the pump to stabilize the pressure;

2. Press the burner start button and observe whether the furnace flame is burning normally. If it does not ignite, the burner should be restarted after troubleshooting.

3, Shutdown

1. Normal shutdown

① Gradually reduce the temperature, turn off the burner, and stop burning;

② Stop the operation of the hot oil circulation pump when the temperature of the hot oil drops below 70 ℃ (refer to the operating procedures of the water pump);

③ Turn off the main power supply and keep a shift handover record.

2. Emergency shutdown of the furnace

In case of emergency during production that requires emergency shutdown of the furnace, the burner should be shut down as soon as possible, and the burner should be moved away along the hinge axis of the burner to form a natural ventilation state between the furnace and the chimney. This will dissipate the heat storage in the furnace, allowing for natural cooling of the heat transfer oil and preventing equipment damage caused by overheating.
