Like industrial assembled thermocouples, they are used as sensors for measuring temperature and are usually paired with display instruments, recording instruments, and electronic regulators. At the same time, they can also be used as temperature sensing components for assembled thermocouples. It can directly measure the temperature of liquids, vapors, gas media, and solid surfaces in various production processes from 0 ℃ to 800 ℃. Compared with assembled thermocouples, armored thermocouples have advantages such as bendability, high pressure resistance, short thermal response time, and durability.

Armored thermocouples mainly consist of junction boxes, terminal blocks, and armored thermocouple components, and are equipped with various installation and fixing devices. Armored thermocouples have five structural types: non fixed device, fixed sleeve type, movable sleeve type, fixed flange type, and movable flange type. The fixed sleeve type is only for one-time fixed use, while the movable sleeve type can be used for multiple fixed uses.
