1. Overview of tungsten-rhenium thermocouple compensation wire
Within a certain temperature range, a pair of wires with an insulation layer and a protective sheath with the same electrothermal characteristics as the thermocouple is called a compensation wire. Its function is to extend the reference end of the thermocouple to a place far away from the heat source or where the ambient temperature is relatively constant, and connect it with the display instrument to form a temperature measurement system.
The function of tungsten-rhenium thermocouple compensation wire is to extend the temperature measurement system formed by connecting the hot electrode, that is, the cold end of the mobile thermocouple, with the display instrument. Compensation wires are generally used on thermocouples, and the insulation layer and sheath of thermocouple compensation wires are different according to the requirements of the environment. The sheath materials include polyvinyl chloride, fluoroplastics, low-smoke and low-halogen polyvinyl chloride and alkali-free glass fibers. Imported high-quality fluoroplastics can withstand temperatures of 260°C, and the new overall continuous extrusion process is adopted, so that the product has excellent acid, alkali, wear resistance and non-flammable properties, and can be immersed in oil and water for long-term use.
Tungsten-rhenium thermocouple compensation wire Thermocouple compensation wire can be used at a temperature of -60 to 260°C, which is at the advanced level in China today. The series of products are mainly used in various temperature measuring devices. The compensation wire models are divided into WC3/25, WRe3-WRe25, WC5/26, and WRe5-WRe26 according to the product variety. Thermocouple compensation wire product usage characteristics: The compensation wire can work in an environment of -60 to 260°C and is an ideal automation unit. It has been widely used in single-point or multi-point connection of automated temperature measuring instruments in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power and other departments.
