Usage of thermocouple protection tube

Thermocouple is a commonly used temperature measuring instrument that plays a significant role in many fields. Thermocouples will inevitably experience wear and tear during the application process, so it is necessary to maintain the thermocouple tube. The maintenance tube has a significant impact on the maintenance of the thermocouple. So, what are the application methods for thermocouple maintenance tubes?.
According to the regulations, the verification method should be as follows: "Put the scale thermocouple on a high aluminum maintenance tube, and bundle it with a thin nickel chromium wire to form a circular bundle with a diameter of no more than 20mm. When bundling, the measuring end of the tested thermocouple should be evenly distributed around the measuring end of the scale thermocouple and located on the uniform cross-section of the vertical scale thermocouple." "Load the bundled thermocouple into the verification furnace, and the measuring end of the thermocouple should be in the core of the low-temperature zone of the tube furnace. The measuring end of the scale thermocouple should be at a different position from the axis of the tube furnace
The individual thermocouples that are bundled together with the scale thermocouples in the regulations are the tested thermocouples that are extracted from the maintenance sleeve and fitted with high aluminum insulated ceramic beads. The tested armored thermocouples are a sturdy cable shaped combination of outer metal tubes, inner insulation materials, and thermocouple wires, which cannot be extracted. The outer diameter of the metal tube sleeve is 1-8mm, and the commonly used armored thermocouple has an outer diameter of 4-5mm, with high hardness. Due to the difference in material, it is difficult to ensure that the bundling result is "on the same section of the vertical scale thermocouple" when tied together with the scale thermocouple. If the bundling is too strong, it can cause the high aluminum maintenance tube of the scale thermocouple to break. In addition, every time the calibration is carried out, the scale thermocouple needs to be tied together with the tested thermocouple. Repeated warfare can easily cause infection to the scale thermocouple, reducing its stability and affecting the accuracy of the measurement results. Furthermore, after each bundling, it is necessary to reconnect the wires, and frequent wiring and pulling can easily damage the maintenance sleeve of the scale thermocouple, causing it to break and lead to scrap, affecting the service life of the scale thermocouple.
A maintenance tube is a tubular object used to protect thermoelectric electrode components from harmless effects. In the installation of some temperature sensors, some cities use maintenance sleeves for measuring time, whether it is thermocouples, thermistors, or bimetallic thermometers. Another thing to note when maintaining the casing is that different temperature sensors should have different extraction depths, and the instruction manual should be checked during application to increase deviation.
