Water pipe insulation for electric heating system in large bus station in northern China
Leave a message
Nowadays, bus stations in large cities in northern my country are significantly larger than before, gradually catching up with the construction standards of developed countries. The corresponding systems are also more sophisticated. However, due to geographical constraints, the north experiences perennially low temperatures, making insulation an essential component of new bus station construction. Insulation plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper operation of supporting equipment, preventing pipe blockages, and ensuring safety.
Insulation systems are the optimal choice for insulating the water supply and drainage pipes, as well as the fire protection and fire protection pipes, within large bus stations. These systems encompass the entire bus station's water supply and drainage piping, including: pressure pump connector pipes, fire protection water supply and transport pipes, water supply pipes, and sewage pipes; water supply and fire protection pipes in various sections of air ducts and openings; fire protection and water supply pipes at station entrances and exits; fire protection and domestic water supply pipes in traffic areas and parking lots; and water supply and fire protection pipes exposed outdoors. These pipes all require electric heat tracing. Because water in low temperatures can freeze in any medium, electric heat tracing is essential to prevent freezing.
The water pipe electric heating cable and insulation system consists of an electric heating control box, electric heating cables and accessories, insulation foam, and an automatic alarm system for electric heating incidents.
Pipeline antifreeze electric heating and insulation uses electric heating cables as a heat source. Heat is generated by energizing resistance and is evenly applied to the pipe surface to provide heat. This technology actively heats and insulates pipes, such as those for fire protection and drainage, to prevent freezing. Active insulation differs from traditional passive insulation methods that only insulate pipes without replenishing the heat source. When the pipe temperature falls below a set point, the system actively heats the pipe.
The electric heating cable is installed between the insulation layer and the outer wall of the pipe, using electricity to compensate for heat lost during water transfer or storage, maintaining the water temperature within a certain range and achieving frost protection. This type of insulation is currently the most widely used type of insulation system, replacing traditional insulation methods as a convenient, safe, and energy-efficient new electric heating and insulation system.
