Hazards of Injection Molding Machine Waste Gas
It is understood that some organic waste gas will be generated during the heating and molding of plastic products by the injection molding machine. The main contents of the waste gas composition analysis of these enterprises include non-methane total hydrocarbons and dust particles.
Non-methane total hydrocarbons refer to all volatile hydrocarbons except methane. This chemical substance has direct harm to the human body, damages the human central nervous system, and causes people to have memory loss, fatigue, headaches and other diseases. In addition, when this substance is exposed to sunlight, it will also produce photochemical smog, which will have an impact on the environment. Similarly, dust particles are also very harmful to the human body and are prone to cause respiratory diseases.
Injection Molding Machine Waste Gas Treatment Method
Considering that injection molding machines have certain hazards to the human body and the environment, my country's environmental protection department has made strict regulations on the emission concentration of non-methane total hydrocarbons in injection molding exhaust, and must be treated and discharged after the concentration reaches the standard. Therefore, the treatment of enterprise waste gas is particularly important in the production and development of injection molding machines.
At present, most of the injection molding machine factories install a gas collection hood and activated carbon adsorption device on the top of the molding machine for waste gas treatment, and then organically connect the gas collection hood and the activated carbon adsorption device to integrate them.
When the injection molding machine starts production, the gas collection hood will quickly absorb the waste gas generated by the injection molding machine, and then use the pipeline to transport the waste gas to the activated carbon adsorption device. The larger dust particles in the waste gas will fall to the bottom of the activated carbon adsorption device, while the harmful gases containing non-methane total hydrocarbons will enter the activated carbon filter layer and be firmly adsorbed by the activated carbon.
