The wiring method of the heating tube determines the way external voltage and current pass through the resistance wire, so the selection of the wiring method of the heating tube has significant practical significance. So how do we choose the wiring method for electric heating tubes? Below is a brief introduction to this issue:
There are two commonly used wiring methods for electric heating tubes: triangular connection and star connection (commonly known as Y-shaped connection)

 

1. Triangle connection method:
① Triangle connection method: The first end of each component of an electric heating tube is connected to the tail end of another component, and the three contacts are connected to three phase wires respectively;
② The characteristics of the triangular connection method: the rated voltage of the three electric heating tube components is 380 volts; If the resistance values of the three components are different, it does not affect the feasibility of this connection method. The triangular connection method has three times the power and current compared to the star connection method.

 

2. Star connection method:
① Star connection method: The heating elements of three electric heating tubes are connected together at the first end (this point is called the neutral point), and the three tail ends are connected to three phase wires.
② When the rated voltage of three components is 220V; If the resistance values of the three components are different, the neutral point should be connected to the neutral line.
