Industrial thermistors generally use Pt100, Pt10,Cu50,Cu100, The temperature measurement range of platinum resistance thermometers is generally -200-800 ℃, while that of copper resistance thermometers is -40 to 140 ℃. Pt100 is a platinum thermistor, and its resistance value is proportional to changes in temperature. The relationship between the resistance of PT100 and temperature change is: when the temperature of PT100 is 0 ℃, its resistance is 100 ohms, and at 100 ℃, its resistance is about 138.5 ohms. Its industrial principle: When PT100 is at 0 degrees Celsius, its resistance is 100 ohms, and its resistance will increase uniformly with the temperature. Pt100 platinum resistance thermometers are widely used in high-precision temperature equipment such as medical, electrical, industrial, temperature calculation, and resistance calculation, with a very wide range of applications.
Although armored thermal resistors are widely used in industry, their application is limited due to their temperature measurement range. The temperature measurement principle of thermal resistors is based on the characteristic that the resistance value of conductors or semiconductors changes with temperature. It also has many advantages, such as remote transmission of electrical signals, high sensitivity, strong stability, good interchangeability and accuracy. However, it requires power excitation and cannot measure temperature changes instantaneously.
According to the temperature measurement principle of thermal resistance, the change in the measured temperature is directly measured through the change in the resistance value of the thermal resistance. Therefore, the change in resistance of various wires such as the lead wires of the thermal resistance body will have an impact on temperature measurement.
Armored thermistor is a solid body composed of temperature sensing elements (resistors), leads, insulation materials, and stainless steel sleeves. Its outer diameter is generally between 2 and 8mm, with a minimum of 0.25mm. Compared with ordinary thermistors, it has the following advantages:
① Small size, no air gap inside, thermal inertia, small measured value;
② Good mechanical performance, vibration resistance, and impact resistance;
③ Can bend, easy to install;
④ Long service life.
Armored thermistor is a commonly used temperature measuring element in temperature measuring instruments. It is composed of two conductors with different compositions connected at both ends to form a circuit. When the temperature of the thermocouple at the two junction points is different, a thermal current will be generated in the circuit. If there is a temperature difference between the working end and the reference end of the thermocouple, the display instrument will indicate the temperature value corresponding to the thermoelectric potential generated by the thermocouple.
Armored thermocouple is a type of temperature sensor that has a smaller diameter, is more flexible, and has better seismic resistance compared to prefabricated thermocouples. It is suitable for installation in situations where prefabricated thermocouples cannot be installed.
