What is the difference between civil electric heating tube and industrial electric heating tube?
Electric heating tubes are generally divided into civilian electric heating tubes and industrial electric heating tubes. Before purchasing electric heating tubes, you must find out whether your electric heating tubes are used in industrial equipment or civilian electrical appliances. The industrial electric heating tubes and civilian electric heating tubes have the following difference:
1. Different implementation standards
The general implementation standard for industrial pipes is: JB-T2379-1993 metal tubular electric heating element production standard; the general implementation standard for civil pipes is: JB/T 4088-1999 daily tubular electrical heating element.
2. The main raw materials are different
The general raw materials of civil electric heating tubes are mostly materials for the plating process, such as nickel plating. The most common thing on the market is to heat up quickly. Such raw materials are low in cost and poor in quality.
The general raw materials of industrial electric heating tubes need to be selected according to the practical working environment: generally iron, stainless steel, Ingle, titanium tube, Teflon, etc.
3. The process is different
Civil electric heating pipes are all standardized production lines, with poor quality and reliability; industrial electric heating pipes are all non-standard customized production, and all basic functions can be guaranteed.
4. The power setting is different
Electric heating tubes for civil use generally increase the surface load to reduce costs, while the power settings of electric heating tubes for industrial use must follow a proportional relationship.
When it comes to rated voltage and working voltage, many people do not understand these two concepts very well. Let us understand the difference between the two:
1. Rated voltage
The rated voltage of the electric heating tube refers to the voltage connected to the electric heating tube specified in the design and marked on the shell of the electric heating tube. Or in other words, the rated voltage is the voltage given by the customer when we are required to process and produce. Generally there are 24V, 48V, 110V, 220V, 380V and so on.
2. Working voltage
For a single electric heating tube connected to the power supply, the working voltage of the electric heating tube refers to the voltage connected to the element specified in the design, that is, the rated voltage.
For a group of electric heating tubes connected in series to the power supply, the working voltage of the electric heating tube refers to the voltage connected to this group of heating tubes specified in the design.
If the customer does not distinguish between the rated voltage and the working voltage, there will be two situations if it is improperly handled during use. One is that the electric heating tube does not generate heat, and the other is that the heating tube has a high temperature. So everyone must understand the difference between these two voltages before applying the electric heating tube.
