What is the difference between end face thermal resistor and armored thermal resistor?

The end face thermal resistor element is wound by specially treated wire (copper or platinum wire), which is tightly wrapped at the front end of the thermometer. Compared with the general axial thermal resistor, the end face thermal resistor can more accurately and quickly reflect the actual temperature condition of the measured end face. It has many production methods and various varieties and forms, which are suitable for the temperature measurement of the steam turbine and motor bearing or other body surfaces of power plants. When installing some end face thermal resistors, since its lead wire is connected to the resistor element, the lead wire and the end face thermal resistor must be rotated synchronously to ensure that the end face thermal resistor is not damaged by human beings during installation, but this situation is inevitable during the actual installation process. Due to the emergence of this situation, Ruike Company has increased its scientific research efforts and successfully developed a special end face thermal resistor. This end face thermal resistor only needs to tighten the screws at the outer end when installing, and does not require the lead wire to rotate synchronously with the end face thermal resistor.
The armored thermal resistor is a solid body composed of a temperature sensing element (resistor body), a lead wire, an insulating material, and a stainless steel casing. Its outer diameter is generally φ2-φ8mm, and the minimum can reach φ0.25mm. Compared with ordinary thermal resistors, it has the following advantages:
1. Small size, no air gap inside, thermal inertia, small measurement value;
2. Good mechanical properties, vibration resistance, impact resistance;
3. Can be bent, easy to install ④ Long service life.
Armored thermal resistor is a temperature sensor. It is smaller in diameter than assembled thermocouples, easy to bend, and has good shock resistance. It is suitable for installation in places where assembled thermocouples cannot be installed. The armored thermocouples produced by the company use imported thermal resistor temperature measuring elements. Therefore, it has the advantages of accuracy, sensitivity, fast thermal response time, stable quality, and long service life.
Armored thermal resistor is a commonly used temperature measuring element in temperature measuring instruments. When the two ends of two conductors of different components are connected into a loop, when the temperatures of the two junction thermocouples are different, a thermal current will be generated in the loop. If there is a temperature difference between the working end and the reference end of the thermocouple, the display instrument will indicate the temperature value corresponding to the thermoelectric potential generated by the thermocouple.
