What should be noted when using platinum rhodium thermocouples on site

Platinum rhodium thermocouple is a common measuring element in temperature measuring instruments. It can directly measure temperature and convert the measured temperature signal into a thermoelectric potential signal, which is then converted into the temperature to be measured through electrical instruments. Platinum rhodium thermistors also have different installation methods. The most common method is fixed, which requires the use of threads for connection, followed by flanges for connection and welding. However, the usage scenarios and requirements are also different, mainly determined by temperature parameters and pressure.
1, When using a platinum rhodium thermocouple, the first thing we need to pay attention to is whether the compensating wire matches the model, and the polarity cannot be connected incorrectly. The connection end between the compensating wire and the platinum rhodium thermocouple should not exceed 100 degrees Celsius in temperature.
2, If a platinum rhodium thermocouple is used for a long time, although there may be small fluctuations in the temperature display on the instrument, the actual fluctuation between the temperature and the furnace temperature is still relatively large. Therefore, in order to accurately ensure the temperature of the entire measurement, we should choose a platinum rhodium thermocouple with a relatively small time constant.
3, In order to ensure sufficient heat exchange between the platinum rhodium thermocouple and the thermistor on the medium at the measuring end, the selection of the measuring point location must be reasonable, and the position of the valve can be avoided.
