What should I pay attention to when installing thermocouples?

Notes on thermocouple installation

(1) Thermocouples should be installed vertically on horizontal or vertical pipes as much as possible, and should be installed with protective sleeves to facilitate maintenance and replacement.

(2) The cold end of the thermocouple should be at the same ambient temperature, and the same type of compensation wire should be used, and the positive and negative should be connected correctly.

(3) When measuring the temperature in the pipeline, the element length should be on the center line of the pipeline (that is, the insertion depth of the protection tube should be half of the pipe diameter).

(4) When installing the temperature moving coil meter, the opening size should be appropriate and the installation should be beautiful and generous.

(5) Use high-temperature resistant cables or high-temperature resistant compensation wires in high-temperature areas.

(6) Different measuring elements should be selected according to different temperatures. Generally, when the measured temperature is greater than 100℃, a thermocouple should be selected, and when it is less than 100℃, a thermal resistor should be selected.

(7) The wiring should be reasonable and beautiful, and the needle indication should be correct.
